OREGON 2025 RECOMMENDATION:

N. SUMPTER (251R)

N. Sumpter allows your crew to chase bugling bulls and cows in the high country from August 30th until September 28, 2025. This unit has a lot of variety, though you all will likely spend the majority of your time in the high country and highest elevation drainages of the unit where elk will see less hunter pressure. Use all the tools in the toolbox and have fun.

Be sure the party coordinator applies for hunt 251R later this spring.

P.S. the archery mule deer tag is available with zero points but is NOT likely to draw as 2nd choice (code 151R).
