How do I know which Hunt West service is right for me?

  • If you want expert advice but prefer DIY flexibility, the Hunt West Session ($250) gives you a 1-hour strategy call with e-scouting insights you can use forever.

  • If you need a detailed, ready-to-execute hunt plan, the Hunt West Plan ($550) provides a week-long strategy, including maps, backup zones, and a breakdown video.

  • If you hunt multiple times per year and want ongoing expert guidance, the Unlimited Membership (Contact for Pricing) offers year-long consulting, text access, and exclusive perks like a FREE suppressor tax stamp and MTNTOUGH fitness membership.

How does the Hunt West Session work?

Once you book, you’ll receive a short questionnaire to outline your hunting goals. I’ll do custom research based on your preferences. Then, we’ll hop on a 1-hour Zoom call, where I’ll break down 2-3 priority units, e-scouting techniques, and strategies. You’ll also get lifetime access to the recording and notes.

What do I get with the Hunt West Plan?

  • The Hunt West Plan ($550) is for hunters who want a complete battle plan before heading out. It includes:

How do I buy a service?

  • Step One: Reach out to Jaden@huntwest.net with your specific needs and goals for your hunt

  • Step Two: Get a service on the schedule.

  • Step Three: Pay for the service via online invoice between scheduling and receiving services

Will I be guaranteed a kill with this service?

  • Hunt the West services give you a well-researched plan and the confidence to create better hunt experiences. However, this service cannot control what you, the hunter, do afield, the effort you put in, the weather conditions on your hunt, and what other people do. What we can guarantee is that you will be better prepared to adjust to whatever the wild throws at you on your western hunting trip.

What if I do not go this year?

  • If a wildfire shuts down your hunt, you don’t draw, or any other extenuating circumstances occur, we will make it right. We're in the business of helping people have better hunts out west, not taking your money and running.

Do I need to take meticulous notes on our Zoom calls?

  • Nope. We record all Zoom calls and upload them to your personalized web page with any additional resources so you can watch or listen over and over again. It’s a good thing to have for your drive to your hunts!

  • Just drew a high-quality hunt and want to make the most of it

  • Have little to no experience hunting out west

  • Have limited time, energy, or knowledge to do your hunt research

  • Want another set of eyes on your upcoming hunt to maximize the potential of having a great trip

Hunt West is NOT for:

  • Folks chasing score - there are other better resources for helping you find a critter that meets a score-based objective

  • Hunters looking for a specific hot spot - by the time a spot is identified as “hot” it is inevitably not one anymore

  • People looking for an easy hunt - As the saying goes, “give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for a lifetime.” This is a “teach a man to fish” service.

Do you send everyone to the same unit/areas to hunt?

  • I have a strict policy: We do not do two hunt parties in the same unit in a year. We turn down clients who asked for services in hunting areas we have already consulted for the year.

  • For “General” or “Regional” hunts, there may be multiple clients with the same tag, but they MUST be hunting separate units. For example, in Wyoming a backpack hunter who wants the chance at a big bull in early October isn't going to hunt near Kemmerer, and a person who needs more road systems and doesn't want grizzly bears isn't going to be provided a plan for Dubois. 

  • The nice thing is if someone with similar goals and skills as a hunter from the previous years has the same tag, there is fresh intel to use on your hunt, so you do gain from clients having been there recently.

Does this replace research services like GoHunt, Epic Outdoors, Huntin’ Fool, or Eastmans’ Taghub?

Nope. All of the application services teams mentioned above are top-notch professionals. I highly recommend subscribing to all of them as I have done so you can put together the full picture of hunting in the west and get the most diverse set of information that you possibly can to make your hunt exactly what you were looking for.
