Colorado
Things to Consider:
75/25 Split in 2024
2024 Tag Reductions
Go more often in Colorado, don’t have high score expectations until you figure a place out
Units >5 Points for Archery Deer:
Unit 55 - 10 Points. 57 Tags. LQ Elk Tags.
Unit 66 - 7 Points. 64 Tags. LQ Elk Tags.
Unit 76 - 6 Points. 21 Tags. LQ Elk Tags.
NOTE: Units 2 & 201 For 2026 if no August hunts from the new proposals
Things to Consider:
75/25 Split in 2024
2025 New August Deer Hunts
All Archery Elk Hunts Going LQ in 2025
Utah
Things to Consider:
Southern units have WAY FEWER licenses than previously
Three great moisture years stacked back to back to back (so far)
May be less pressure mentally than a 12-point hunt in Colorado
Wyoming
Wait on mule deer for 4-6 years
Go elk hunting in 2026
Things to Consider:
Archery deer hunt in 2-3 years could be good (low-country hunt recommended)
Drawing odds should settle out with new prices
Maybe new type-9 archery tags soon
NOTE: Units 38 For Archery Elk.
Arizona
Wait on Kaibab mule deer
Go elk hunting soon (late archery in 23, Fall of 2025)
